Job Description:

Lead the educational development for children and families. This includes curriculum selection, volunteer recruitment and development, classroom management, and operational management necessary to ensure successful, continuously improving weekend children’s gatherings and periodic special events.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Recruit, develop and lead a team of and volunteers in the operation of a children’s program, including weekend gatherings and periodic special events.
  2. Regularly select and/or develop curriculum for a children’s education program that is part of weekend gatherings.
  3. Direct the recruitment, training, and development of volunteers as needed to staff children’s ministry classrooms and special events.
  4. Cast vision for and program 3 community events that encourages community engagement
  5. Design and plan periodic child dedication services as required, meeting the needs and expectations of families
  6. Lead the creative use and proactive upkeep of children’s facilities and grounds.
  7. Assist in the development of an annual budget for children’s education program and manage spending to budget.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Hispanic Community Engagement Director

Hispanic Community Engagement Director

Job Description:

This role will engage the Spanish speaking community in order to attract people to explore a relationship with UBNC and providing a smooth onboarding system designed to increase membership and member participation. This includes, marketing, event coordination and assimilation processes

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Provide care for those assigned in your care area.
  2. Recruit, train, develop and deploy a volunteer leadership team capable of fulfilling needed roles.
  3. Engage the Spanish Speaking Community
    1. Develop Discipleship Program, start Spanish Speaking worship service
  4. Understand marketing strategies that will help UBNC connect to our community
  5. Have an ability to understand and implement UBNC’s assimilation strategy
  6. Create and oversee community engagement events targeting the Hispanic Community. At least four per year
  7. All other duties as assigned
